Maxillaria variablis 7.5cm

This incredible species in the Maxillaria genus is a great orchid for beginners, especially when space is limited.  The super fragrant little yellow flowers are sweet with a hint of citrus and honey, absolutely mind-blowing.

Temp: intermediate to warm

Light: bright indirect light with some early morning sun is ideal

Water: Water regularly especially in growing season when pot is about half way dry

Humidity: 65% plus, but you can manage it with a humidity tray or through misting. 

Size: young divisions of flowering size in 7.5cm pots
