Macodes petolata

Jewel orchids are a wish list orchid for many collectors.  These creeping terrestrial orchids are known for their incredible foliage and the Macodes petolata commonly known as the lightning jewel is the most striking.  With the veins shimmering in light as though made of silver glitter.

Temp: Intermediate to warm 

Light: medium, will tolerate low

Water: do not allow to dry out completely 

Humidity: high
